  • Renter's spouse or significant other who meets Renter's same age and driver's license requirements are authorized drivers at no additional charge. All additional authorized drivers must be present at the time of rental and meet age and driver's license requirements. An additional fee of $15 per day for each additional authorized driver will be added to the rental cost unless other contractual terms apply.


    A spouse or domestic partner is the only additional driver allowed on a debit card guaranteed rental.

  • Enterprise Holdings locations at Denver International Airport are available 24 hours a day for returns. Please return the vehicle to the return lanes, park the car and place the keys in the dashboard. A return agent present at the return lanes or a counter agent will help complete the rental agreement. We offer a 24 hour transfer service back to the airport.

  • This reservation is made with a contract identification number (CID) assigned to a corporate account for use by authorized renters only. Use of this CID by anyone other than an authorized renter is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action. Renters using this CID may be required to provide proof of employment or credentials (eg business card, current email address with company domain, work order, etc.). Questions about acceptable proof of employment or authorization should be directed to your travel manager.

  • Vehicles rented in the US can be driven in the US and Canada. Vehicles cannot be driven into Mexico.

  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance. CDW purchase is optional and not required for renting a vehicle.

    Optionally, you can purchase CDW for an additional fee. If you purchase CDW, we contractually agree to waive your liability for all or part of the cost of damage, loss or theft of the vehicle, subject to the actions set out in the Rental Agreement that void the CDW. DW does not apply to damage incurred in Mexico.

    When deciding whether or not to purchase CDW, you should check with your insurance agent or credit card company to determine if you have coverage or protection for such damage or theft in the event of vehicle damage or theft and the amount of the deductible. or excess risk.

    *For rentals originating in California - CDW ranges from $10.99 to $500.00 per day, depending on the type of vehicle rented.

  • Notification and acknowledgment of current/traction law. Renter is solely responsible for compliance with all current/traction laws, statutes, rules and ordinances, including but not limited to C.R.S. Section 42-4-106. Owner makes no representations or warranties that the vehicle will comply with any chain/traction laws, statutes, codes or ordinances.   • For retail rentals covered only with extended protection within the cost of the rental (excluding any liability coverage or insurance coverage provided in a commercial contract):

    Extended Protection (EP) (if available): Owner will provide Renter or any AAD with liability coverage equal to the minimum financial liability applicable to the Vehicle (the Primary Protection). EP also provides additional liability coverage through an excess policy with limits on the difference between the primary insurance and an individual combined limit of $1 million per accident for personal injury and/or property damage to third parties resulting from use or operation. owner's leased vehicle by the renter or an AAD, subject to policy terms. EP includes UM/UIM coverage for bodily injury and property (only where required by law for property damage) equal to the minimum financial liability applicable to the vehicle (the primary protection) and additional coverage per deductible with limits on the difference between the minimum statutory and US floor $100,000 per accident (For New York rentals, UM/UIM limits are $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident; for Hawaii rentals, UM/UIM limits are $100,000 per accident 1,000,000) or state-mandated UM/UIM limit, whichever is greater. No UM/UIM claims can be made due to the negligence of the driver of the vehicle. EP coverage is valid only while another AAD or renter is driving the vehicle in the US and Canada; Insurance coverage is not valid in Mexico. ADDITIONAL POLICY EXCLUSIONS ARE: (A) PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH TO RENTER, ANY AAD, RELATIVES OR FAMILY OF RENTER OR AAD IF SUCH RELATIVES OR FAMILIES LIVE WITH RENTER OR AAD IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD; (B) PROPERTY DAMAGE TO THE RENTAL VEHICLE; (C) FINES, PENALTIES, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; (D) PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ANTICIPATED OR INTENDED BY THE POSITION OF THE INSURED; AND (E) ANY OBLIGATIONS FOR WHICH THE INSURED OR THE INSURED'S INSURER MAY BE LIABLE UNDER ANY EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION, DISABILITY BENEFIT OR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS OR SIMILAR LAW. (F) PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY INJURY EXPECTED OR INTENDED BY RENTER OR AADS. Note: All paid UM/UIM benefits are included in the $1M combined single limit EP coverage and do not in any way increase the combined single limit amount above.   • As a customer, you can choose how you want to pay for fuel.

    Option 1 - Prepayment of Fuel - This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank at the time of the lease and return the empty tank. Pricing is based on an estimate of current fuel prices and the average tank size of the car received. Unused gas will not be refunded.

    Option 2 - We recharge. --This option allows the renter to pay Alamo at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. The price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices.

    Option 3 - You reload. --This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid additional fuel charges.

  • Customers residing in the United States, US territories, or Canada

    Customers residing in the United States, US Territories, or Canada must present a valid, unexpired, government-issued driver's license that includes a photograph of the customer. Digital licenses are not accepted. Driver's license must be valid for the entire rental period.

    Members of the United States Armed Forces who are on active duty may present an expired home state license under the following conditions:

    • They also provide active military identification and

    • They adhere to the military extension policy of the state that issued the license. These policies vary by state and customers are encouraged to contact the appropriate Department of Motor Vehicles for more information.

    Customers traveling to the United States and Canada from other countries

    It is important that customers check with the appropriate motor vehicle authority in the state or province in which they intend to travel to ensure compliance with their various registration laws. Digital licenses are not accepted. The following practices are used to ensure that the customer presents a valid driver's license at the time of rental.

    Customers traveling to the United States and Canada from another country must present:

    • Valid and unexpired driving license from the country of origin, with photo, and

    • If the home country driver's license is in a language other than English (or French, for rent in Canada) and the letters are English (i.e. German, Spanish, etc.), an international driver's license is recommended for purposes of translation, but not required beyond the Home Country License.

    • If the driver's license from the home country is in a language other than English and the letters are not English (i.e. the alphabet is not an extended Latin alphabet like German or Spanish, but rather Russian, Japanese, Arabic, etc.), an international driver's license is required.

    • If it is not possible to obtain an international driver's license in the home country, another professional typewritten translation can be substituted. In any case, the driving license from the country of origin must also be presented.

    • Customers are not allowed to rent a vehicle using only the International Driving Permit. The international driver's license is a translation of the driver's license from the person's home country and is not considered a valid driver's license or identification document.

    • In some US locations, customers who do not have a US driver's license may be required to provide additional documentation. Examples of this could be a valid passport or, in certain states (AZ, CA, CO, NM, TX), a valid Mexican voter registration card and/or entry and exit documents.
    • In some Canadian locations, customers who do not have a Canadian driver's license may be required to provide additional valid government-issued documentation. Examples of this could be a valid passport.

    Other requirements

    • Photocopies of driving licenses will not be accepted.

    • Student licenses are not accepted.

    • Any license that, prima facie, restricts the licensee to the use and operation of a vehicle equipped with some type of breathalyzer will not be accepted.

    • Temporary driver's licenses may be refused if the rental location is unable to verify the customer's identity or verify the authenticity of the temporary driver's license. Additional official identification may be required.

  • Personal Effects Coverage (PEC) is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily fee. If accepted, the PEC contained in the policy will insure the renter's personal belongings, additional drivers or anyone traveling with the renter against the risk of loss or damage. Benefits are paid in addition to any other insurance coverage of the Renter or the Passengers. This is just a summary. PEC is subject to the provisions, limitations and exclusions of the PEC policy underwritten by Empire Fire and Marine Insurance Company of the United States. The purchase of the PEC is optional and not mandatory for renting a car. The coverage provided by the PEC may duplicate the Renter's existing coverage. Alamo is not qualified to assess the adequacy of Renter's existing insurance coverage; Therefore, the renter should review their personal insurance policies or other sources of coverage that may duplicate the coverage provided by PEC.

  • LESSEE REQUIREMENTS AND PAYMENT POLICY

    RENTAL REQUIREMENTS POLICY

    All additional renters and drivers must be at least 21 years of age. All renters must have a valid driver's license and a credit or debit card in their name. Persons with a teaching or learning permit are not entitled to rent. This is just a summary. See the Driver's License Information Policy for more details.

    TO ALTER

    The underage surcharge for drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 is USD 25 per day. Renters aged between 21 and 24 can rent the following vehicle classes: Economy to Large, Cargo and Minivans, Pickups and Compact, Economy and Standard SUVs with capacity for up to 5 passengers.

    DEBIT CARD

    Debit cards are not accepted at the airports at the time of rental unless accompanied by a booked return itinerary. The name and address on the renter's driver's license must match the current home address. Active duty military personnel are exempt from the address requirement.

    No additional drivers other than the renter's spouse or domestic partner are allowed.

    If a debit card is used for amounts due, the Available Balance in the account associated with Renter's debit card will be reduced by those amounts. Additionally, renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.

    INSURANCE CHECK

    At the time of rental, renters without a return itinerary booked must present a transferable motor vehicle accident, collision damage waiver and liability policy for the following vehicle classes: Full Size Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury Sedan, Sedan Mid Sport Luxury, Electric Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury SUV, Enhanced Luxury SUV, Luxury Electric SUV, Limousine Van and Corvette.

    The total estimated rental amount on the "Review & Booking" screen and/or the booking confirmation email will be charged using the payment method provided by the renter. If the reserved rental is changed, the total estimated rental amount may change and will still be charged through the payment method provided by the renter.

    At the time of rental, Renter will sign a rental agreement (the “Agreement”) that applies to the rental and includes a Rental Agreement Summary and additional terms and conditions.

    DEPOSIT AMOUNT

    In order to pay Renter any additional amounts due under the Agreement, Renters without a round trip itinerary booked must place a security deposit of USD 400 or USD 850 for the following vehicle classes: Performance Sport, Full Size Luxury SUV , Electric Luxury SUV, Elite Full Size Electric Sedan, Mid Size Sport Luxury Sedan, Luxury Full Size Sedan, Premium Luxury Sedan, Electric Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury SUV, Enhanced Luxury SUV, Limousine Van and Corvette.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    Debit cards are only accepted at the time of rental if accompanied by a round trip itinerary.

    Renter must use a payment method listed above for the deposit amount. The amount of the deposit will only be available to the hirer after returning the vehicle and/or will be refunded to the hirer.

    If Renter incurs additional fees pursuant to the Contract, these additional fees may be deducted from Renter's security deposit, if applicable. If these additional amounts are not deducted from the deposit amount, they will be charged to the form of payment provided by Renter at the time of rental, unless Renter provides another form of payment to be charged as set out above.

    If a debit card is used for any of the above amounts, the available balance in the account associated with the renter's debit card will be reduced by those amounts. Additionally, renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.

    Money orders and prepaid cards are not accepted forms of payment at the time of rental, including the deposit amount, but can be used to pay any amounts due at the end of the rental upon return of the vehicle. Cash is not accepted.

    In addition to any of the payment methods listed above, credit cards with sufficient available funds listed in the renter's profile or loyalty account (Emerald Club, E Club, etc.) will be accepted as payment for all amounts due under the Agreement .

    All amounts due by Renter under the Agreement will be presented (a) as an authorization to hold and make a final charge to Renter's credit or debit card or (b) to charge Renter's debit card.

  • Renter may purchase Roadside Plus (RSP) from Owner for an additional fee. If Renter purchases the RSP, Owner agrees, subject to actions voiding the Collision Damage Waiver, to contractually release Renter's liability for the cost of providing 24-hour roadside assistance (if available) to replace lost Keys (including remote access devices) included. Roadside assistance (if the spare tire is not full, the vehicle will be towed. The cost of the spare tire is not covered by the RSP), lockout service (if the keys are locked in the vehicle), auxiliary departure and fuel delivery service for up to 3 gallons (or equivalent) liters) of fuel when the vehicle runs out of fuel. Roadside Plus services are only available in the US and Canada. If renter does not purchase RSP or RSP is voided as described above, roadside assistance will be available but standard charges will apply. RSP is not applicable in Mexico.   • Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP) is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily fee. If accepted, SLP will provide Renter and Authorized Drivers with an individual combined limit of up to $300,000 for Third Party Liability Claims. If the renter accepts the SLP, Alamo will provide liability coverage up to the applicable minimum financial liability limit and Zurich American Insurance Company will provide liability coverage from the applicable minimum financial liability limit up to $300,000. This is just a summary. SLP is subject to the terms, conditions, provisions, limitations and exclusions of the Supplemental Rent Liability Insurance Deductible Policy purchased from Zurich American Insurance Company. Purchasing SLP is optional and not required for renting a car. The coverage provided by the SLP may duplicate the Renter's existing coverage. Alamo is not qualified to assess the adequacy of Renter's existing coverage; Therefore, the renter should review their personal insurance policies or other sources of coverage that may duplicate the coverage provided by the SLP.
